Mrs. Elizabeth Wright Cotton died Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at Ridgewood Manor of Washington.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington, with pastor Louis Glaspie officiating.
Mrs. Cotton was born in Chowan County on Dec. 25, 1923. She was the daughter of the late John H. and Clara Wright Cotton. She attended the Edenton City Schools. She was married to Joseph Cotton, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Thomas E. Cotton of Washington; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Cotton of Chocowinity and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of her son, 1101 Trade St., Washington.
