Mrs. Liller B. Herbin, 94, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, at home.
A funeral will be conducted today at 1 p.m. in Spring Garden Missionary Baptist Church, Washington, with the Rev. Dr. E.R. McNair officiating. Burial will follow in the Herbin family cemetery.
Mrs. Herbin was born Aug. 23, 1914. She was the daughter of the late Henry Goddard and Georgeanna Lilly. In 1939, she was married to Henry L. Herbin, who preceded her in death. She was employed as a home health aide with the Jewish Community Center. She retired at the age of 83.
Survivors include one daughter, Sarah Murray; three sons, Henry L. Herbin, James T. Herbin and Howard Herbin; 31 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Maggie G. Burgess, Besty Biggs, Lula Goddard, Kordeilla Goddard, Judia Phillips, Lisa Peele McGoddard, Romeo Goddard, George Goddard and her children, Ideilla Fossie, Zelma K. Herbin, William Herbin, Robert Herbin, Nell Herbin and Ronnie Herbin.
Arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
