Mrs. Evans was born in Beaufort County on October 8, 1937, daughter of the late Clive Tyndall Williams and the late Myrtle Rogers Williams. She attended Chocowinity High School and on March 31, 1981 married J.T. Evans who survives. Mrs. Evans was a homemaker and an inactive member of Haw Branch Church of Christ but in her heart she felt the embrace of the out pouring of love from Ephesus Free Will Baptist Church. She made an impact on many peoples’ lives, some of which never knew where the generosity came from. Mrs. Evans had a love for animals which is reflected by the many she rescued and found good homes for. She was a loving wife, mother and mama who will be truly missed but never forgotten.
