William “Frank” Simpkins Jr.

Mr. William “Frank” Simpkins Jr., 50, of 54 Harding St., Chocowinity, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Paul Funeral Home, Washington, with the Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Washington. Dwight Chandler, Justin Chandler, Alex Chandler, Robert Smith, Gary Kirkley and Matthew Roughton will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Simpkins was born in Beaufort County on May 12, 1958. He was the son of the late William Frank Simpkins Sr. and Ellen Marie Paul Simpkins. On Aug. 30, 1985, he married the former Regina Ann Craft, who survives. He was a construction superintendent. He attended Chocowinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four sons, William Frank Simpkins III of Chocowinity, Seth Ray Simpkins, Trey Thomas Simpkins and Brandon Earl Simpkins, all of the home; one daughter, Cassandra Craft of Washington; one brother, Donald Foster of Washington; one sister, Joanne Boyd of Washington and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie Simpkins, David Simpkins and Steve Foster and one sister, Charlene Simpkins.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home, Washington, and other times at the home.
