Mrs. Sabra Spruill Coley, 85, of Creswell, died Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at Chowan Hospital in Edenton.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Philippi Church of Christ, Creswell, with Glenn Brickhouse and Thomas Biggs officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Coley was born in Washington County, the daughter of the late Charles J. and Iva Sawyer Spruill. She was married to James R. Coley, who preceded her in death. She was a retired waitress. She was a member of Philippi Church of Christ, Creswell.
Survivors include one sister, Ina S. Clifton of Norfolk, Va.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rose Coley, and two brothers, Ashley Spruill and Dallas Spruill.
The family will receive friends Saturday from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Philippi Church of Christ, Creswell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Philippi Church of Christ Family Life Center.
