Mr. Gerald Lee Michael, 69, of 407 W. Academy St., Robersonville, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday at Grace Family Fellowship in Robersonville with pastor Rick Manning officiating.
Mr. Michael was born in Tulsa, Okla., on Oct. 10, 1939. He was the son of the late Violet Juanita Michael. He was an Army veteran and was a retired courier with ASP Delivery. He was married to Mary Theresa Gallant Michael, who survives. He was a member of Grace Family Fellowship in Robersonville.
Survivors include one daughter, Bonnie Michael Legacy of Bethel; two sisters, Glenda Stafford and Linda Stafford Emory, both of Santa Maria, Calif.; two brothers, Terry Stafford and Larre Stafford, both of Santa Maria, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service in the family life center of Grace Family Fellowship and other times at the home of his daughter, 270 W. Andrews St., Bethel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Family Fellowship, 24093 N.C. Highway 903, Robersonville, NC 27871.
