Mr. James S. Boone, 84, of 104-54 200th St., Hollis, N.Y., and formerly of Washington County, died Friday, May 8, 2009, at Franklin Medical Center in Valley Stream, N.Y. A funeral will be conducted at 5 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service of Roper. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service of Roper.
