Mr. Eston L. Keeler

Mr. Eston Lee Keeler, age 90, a resident of 495 Spring Creek Lane, Belhaven, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Pungo District Hospital in Belhaven.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Bethany United Methodist Church, conducted by Pastor Sue Farlow.
Mr. Keeler was born in Marlboro, VA on June 30, 1918. He was the son of the late Robert and Pearl Keeler. Mr. Keeler served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from the Parks and Recreation Department with the City of Winchester, VA. Mr. Keeler had lived in the Belhaven area for the past 14 years. He was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church. He volunteered with the Meals on Wheels program and was a former member of the Belhaven V.F.W. Post.
In August of 1967, he married the former Helen Mae Isaacs, who survives.
Surviving with his wife are three nephews, Wilbur Keeler, James H. Keeler and Robert W. Keeler all of Winchester, VA.; a niece, Mary Frances Keeler of Pacilet, S.C.; four step sons, Lester L. Sealing of Citrus Springs, FL, Walter R. Sealing of Winchester, VA., Donald R. Sealing of Martinsburg, WV, Edward L. Sealing of Queenstown, MD, one step daughter, Joyce M. Edwards of Clarksburg, WV; 16 step grandchildren and 18 step great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
