Tina Rae Waters Segar, 34, of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and formerly of Plymouth, died Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Central Michigan Community Hospital due to complications from hypoglycemia.
Tina was born June 18, 1974 in Washington, N.C., the daughter of Bruce and Phyllis Wynn Waters. She married Joseph Daniel Segar on July 4, 1995 in Waterburg, New York and since 1996 she and her husband have lived in Michigan. A graduate of Plymouth High School, Tina Worked as an in home health care provider. She was a lifelong student aspiring to complete her nursing degree.
She loved animals, music, comedies, spicy food, fishing, making people laugh, walks in the woods and playing with her boys. She was an intelligent, funny, outgoing and giving person that made friends everywhere she went. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Her family includes her husband, Joseph Daniel Segar; sons, Christopher Joseph-Christian, Thomas Patrick and Eric Daniel; mother, Phyllis Waters all of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and her father, Bruce Waters of Plymouth, N.C.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Maitland Memorial Chapel, Plymouth with Bob Moulden and Robert Travis officiating. Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 20, 2009 following the services. Arrangements are by Maitland Memorial Chapel, Plymouth.
