Mrs. Callie Donia Griswell Hassell, 96, of 1303 Chapel Hill, Columbia, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009, at Chowan Hospital in Edenton. A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. James H. Rodgers officiating. Arrangements are by Rowsom Funeral Home of Columbia.
