Ms. Gladys Ellis Stevenson, 79, of 529 Swamp Road, Hertford died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, at Brian Center of Hertford. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Walker Horner Chapel in Plymouth with the Rev. Howard Simpson Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Walker Horner Chapel of Plymouth.
