Mr. George Henry Whitney Sr., 65, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at Beaufort County Medical Center in Washington. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Beaufort County Alumni Building, Swamp Road, Pantego. The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Whitney, 1000 Swamp Road, Pantego and the home of Ms. Bernice Lacy, Clifton Park, Apartment 104, Cowell Farm Road, Washington. Arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
