Mr. Malcolm E. “Tex” Thomas, 84, of Norfolk, Va., died Friday, March 19, 2010, at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Va. A funeral will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in Sound Side Free Will Baptist Church in Columbia. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. today in the church fellowship hall. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
