Ms. Hazel Marie Ward, 61, a resident of 603 W. Ninth St., Washington, died Monday, April 19, 2010. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Holly Grove Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) in the Sidney community, with Elder Dr. Johnson Hazel officiating. Burial will follow in the Slade family cemetery. The family will receive friends at 4813 N.C. Highway 99 South, Belhaven. Arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
