Voilet L. Jackson, of Pinetown, went to be with our Lord on May, 9, 2010 at home, with her family at her side. She was 79 years old and is survived by her husband of 60 years, Carlos M. Jackson of the home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Five Points Free Will Baptist Church at 2PM. The family will receive friends at Hillside Funeral Service on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 6-8PM. Services will be conducted by Pastor Fred Wilson and Pastor Justin Marker. Burial will be at the Latham Family Cemetery.
Violet, a lifelong resident of Beaufort County, was a homemaker, and a Nurse who retired from Beaufort County Hospital after 27 years of service. She loved to read novels and watch classic movies. She was a member of Pinetown Church of Christ and attended Five Points Free Will Baptist Church.
Other survivors include her daughters; Cheryl Hayes of Greensboro, Kerry Boyd and husband Neal of Pinetown; Tracey Everett and husband Ernie of Everett’s Crossroads; her sons;  Phillip Jackson of Pinetown, Travis Jackson and wife Laurie of Washington; a dear sister, Faye Latham of Richton, MS.; 10 Grandchildren; James Boyd and wife Jeanea, Audra “Cissy” Williams and husband Jim, Jeffery M. Harris, Brad Jackson and wife Deanna, Justin Jackson of Camp Lejeune, NC, Laura Lane and husband David of Louisville, KY, Heath Everett, Thomas Everett, Brittany Jackson and Lane Jackson; seven Great Grandchildren who lovingly knew her as Gran-Gran; Noah Johnson, Braxton and Emma Boyd, Maddox Jackson, Christian and Ashley Harris, and Adriana Lane. 
She was preceded in death by her son; Carlos W. “Kizmo” Jackson, her parents; Clarence Latham and Annie Latham Buck; her Aunt and Uncle, Annie and Robert Latham; her sister, Marion Pittman, and brother, Edgar Lathamof Richton, MS.
Pallbearers will be Jamie and Larry Boyd, Justin and Brad Jackson, Wesley M. Wallace, and Glenn Howell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Noah Johnson and Braxton Boyd.
