Mr. Lora Harris Meekins, 85, of 1191 Snug Harbor Road, Hertford, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at home. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bryan Funeral Service’ Columbia Community Chapel with Stanley Nixon officiating. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service’ Columbia Community Chapel.
