Mr. Robert Wilson Biggs, Sr., 70, of 530 Madison St., Plymouth died Friday, May 21, 2010 at home.
A funeral will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Lily of the Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Jasper Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Biggs Family cemetery.
Mr. Biggs was born on Sept. 7, 1939 in Washington County. He was the son of the late James Biggs and Louise McNair Biggs. He was a member of Lily of the Valley Baptist Church and Golden Crown Lodge #253. He was married to the late Pearl Virginia Davenport Biggs. He was a retired fiber control tower operator with Weyerhaeuser.
Survivors include two sons: Robert W. Biggs, Jr., Greenville, Thermus Biggs, Mount Vernon, NY; daughter: Glenda Biggs, Plymouth; brother: Benjamin Biggs, Plymouth; sister: Hazel Kornegay, Plymouth and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday at Lily of the Valley Baptist Church and other times at the home.
