Mr. Oliver Winstead Hale Sr., 89, of the 500 block of Gatling Street, Windsor, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at home. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Cashie Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Carroll Tarkington officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Walker Funeral Home and other times at the home. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home.
