Mrs. Bobbie Jean Woolard, age 69, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend died Friday August 27, 2010 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC.
A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday August 30, 2010 at Oakdale Cemetery of Washington officiated by Rev. Bill Gay. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons: Sam Tim Woolard, III, Parker Allen Woolard and Jackson Storm Lancaster. Also serving as pallbearers will be Jason Scott Woolard, Ted Wallace and Octavus Wallace. Honorary pallbearers will be William Woolard and Mike Woolard.
Mrs. Woolard was born in Wilson County on February 14, 1941 daughter of the late James Chester Pyle and Sadie Louise Owens Pyle. On September 23, 1957, she married the late Sam Tim Woolard, Sr., who preceded her in death on March 7, 2004. Mrs. Woolard was a homemaker.
Mrs. Woolard is survived by three children: Sam Tim Woolard, Jr. and wife Billie P. Woolard of Winterville, NC, Allen Ray Woolard and wife Jackie L. Woolard and Louann W. Lancaster and husband Terry Lancaster all of Washington, NC, three brothers; Jimmy Pyle of Raleigh, NC, Clifton Pyle and Darnell Pyle both of Washington, NC, five grandchildren; Sam Tim Woolard, III, Alexis Paige Woolard, Parker Allen Woolard, Jackson Storm Lancaster and Hunter Gray Lancaster and two great grandchildren; Hayden Zachary Woolard and Chance Cameron Woolard.
The family will receive friends on Sunday August 29, 2010 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and other times at the home located at 7673 US 264 East, Washington, NC.
