Mrs. Monti Marlin Wrenn, age 85, a resident of Franklin, TN and formerly of Washington, NC died Wednesday October 27, 2010.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington with Rev. William Lee Kinney officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
Mrs. Wrenn attended Mars Hill College &Furman University. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church where she spent many years in the choir. On April 10, 1948, she married her late husband Gene Wrenn. They traveled together to many different states and countries over the years during Gene’s career in the U.S. Air Force. They retired to Washington, NC in 1975.
She is survived by sons, Lew (Susan) Wrenn of Franklin, TN, Chris (Janet) Wrenn of Raleigh, NC and Jeff (Linda) Wrenn of Suwannee, GA; grandchildren, Lisa (Pat) Budronis, Jason, Chase and Fisher Wrenn.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 211 West 2nd St., Washington, NC 27889.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Paul Funeral Home.
