Mahkayla Leigh Hodges, 11-day-old daughter of Michael Ashley Hodges and Desiree Conte Cheatham, of 56 Grizzard Lane, Washington, died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 3:30 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Oakdale Cemetery, Washington, conducted by Pastor Kelly Sorg.
In addition to her parents, Mahkayla is survived by her twin sister, Laela Mia Hodges of the home; brother, Nathaniel Scott Cheatham of the home; maternal grandparents, Wencie Conte Cheatham and her husband, Jose Martinez of the home, Steven Kevin Cheatham of Spartanburg, S.C.; paternal grandparents, Cindy Leigh Anderson, Cindy Young and Faith Lins all of Washington; paternal great-grandparent, Sandra Moore of Washington; maternal great-grandparents, Catherine and James Frazier of Norfolk, Va. and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2010 at the home of her paternal grandmother, Cindy Leigh Anderson, 109 Paul Street, Washington.
