Malinda “Linda” Roebuck Rawls, age 66, of Amelia, Va., passed away Saturday, November 6, 2010.
Ms. Rawls was born September 4, 1944. She is survived by three children, James “Jamie” Elbert Rawls, Nora Denise Davis and her husband, Ronald Davis, Jr., and Amanda Rawls Ramsey; seven grandchildren, Kalley, Ashley, Jessica, Ronnie, Taylor, James and Lillian; a sister, Sonya R. Nixon and her husband, Dennis; a devoted fiancé, William “Bill” L. Duke; her only surviving aunt, Margie McGowan and her devoted and loving pets, Dennie, Richard and Shane.
The family received friends Monday, November 15 at Bliley’s-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Road, Richmond, Va. The funeral service was held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 16 at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Robert Beasley. Burial followed at Graceland Baptist Church Cemetery.
