Mary L. Bell, age 61, a resident of 7065 Hwy 99 N, Pantego, NC died Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Beaufort County Medical Center. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 19, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Mike Brown. Burial will follow at Pamlico Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Hillside Funeral Service on Thursday, November 18, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Mrs. Bell was born on August 31, 1949 in Beaufort County, NC, daughter of the late Ernest Nathaniel Lewis and Eva Jones Lewis. She worked at Gurley’s Florist as a Floral Designer for 15 years. She was a member of Moose Lodge #1800 and Eastern Star. Mrs. Bell was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She was loved by many people and loved everyone.
She is survived by two sons, Billy Bell and wife, Michelle of Washington, and Ralph Jarvis and wife, Christy of Southern Shores; one daughter, Melissa Bell Keech and husband, Anthony of Washington; a stepson, Jody Bell and wife, Melody of Texarkana, TX; 10 grandchildren, Avery Respass, Zebulon Harrison Jarvis, Garrett Keech, Braxton Bell, Sydney Keech, Brady Daniels, Jordan Bell, Andrew Keech, Megan Bell and Hunter Bell; her companion, Timmy Fisher; a special friend, Joseph Bell; one brother, Hilton Lewis of Washington; and 3 sisters, Marie Manning of Greenville, Helen Campbell of Washington and Florence Haddock of Sanford, FL.
