Mrs. Mittie O. Simpson, 78, a resident of 90 Cumberland Lane, Plymouth, died Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at Wake Medical Hospital in Cary. A viewing will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Puckett-Purkett Memorial Chapel, Plymouth. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, Roper, with Elder Benny Mackey officiating. A committal service will follow at Bethel Church Cemetery. Arrangements are by Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service Inc., Roper.
