Mrs. Rita Gayle Warren Williams, age 61, a resident of 260 Wells Ave., Washington, NC died Friday December 17, 2010 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday December 21, 2010 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington officiated by Rev. Sam Grist and Rev. David Fambrough. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams was born in Beaufort County on February 26, 1949 daughter of the late Marvin Warren and Doris Willis Warren who survives. She was a 1967 graduate of Washington High School and married Walter Nelson Williams December 21, 1979 who survives. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker.
Surviving along with Mrs. Williams’ husband Walter of the home and mother: Doris W. Warren of Washington is a daughter: Betsy Davis Boyd and her husband Allen of Washington; three grandchildren: Amber Jarman, Dusty Jarman and Charli Boyd all of Washington; three sisters: Terry Warren Mitchell and her husband “Duck” of Washington, Kristie Warren Hawkins of Bath and Laurie Warren Jackson and her husband Travis of Washington; a sister in law: Martha Wooten of Portsmouth, VA and her nieces and nephews. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by a son: A.C. Davis.
