Mrs. Gertie Marie Gurganus Swain, 93, of Racetrack Road, Bear Grass, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at the Williamston House. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Cole Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Swain Plantation. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Williamston.
