Mr. John Edward Boone, 89, of 601 S. Main St., Robersonville, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, at Martin General Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Biggs Funeral Home chapel in Robersonville with James O. Hagwood officiating. Burial will follow in Robersonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Robersonville at Biggs Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
