Mr. Frankie DeWitt Blango, 64, resident of 9806 Highway 306, Arapahoe, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at Carolina East Medical Center, New Bern. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Ware Creek Missionary Baptist Church. The family will received friends at the homes of Margaret W. Blango, 4971 Mouth of the Creek Road, Blounts Creek, and Lucille B. Ganues, 9806 Highway 306, Araphahoe. A walk-in visitation will be conducted from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the Whitfield &Whitley Chapel. Arrangements are by Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home.
