Mrs. Annie Gray Crisp Stokes, 89, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 28, 2011, at 3 p.m. in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Stokes, a native of Pitt County, lived most of her life in Beaufort County. She was a member of Wayside Presbyterian Church in Chocowinity.
Mrs. Stokes was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Elmer Stokes, daughter, Elma Faye Smith, brother, James Crisp and sister, Earle Corbett.
She is survived by her: son, Jimmy Stokes and wife, Scarlet, of Chocowinity; grandchildren, Mark Smith, Scott Smith, Teresa Langley and husband, Ben, Dorothy Alligood and husband, Donald, Jamie Stokes and wife, Dawn, and Jody Harbrige and husband, Travis; 14 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Virginia Corbett, of Fla., Joyce Gurley, of Mt. Olive, Evelyn Brooks, Lou Crisp, Al Crisp and William O. Crisp, Jr., all of Greenville.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home of Jimmy Stokes or Teresa Langley.
