Sallie Mae Roberson Ange, 91, a resident of Ridgewood Manor in Washington and formerly of 2144 Old Highway 64, Jamesville, died Friday, January 28, 2011. She was born in Martin County on May 29, 1919. She was predeceased by her husband, Clifton Linwood Ange, and two daughters, Elizabeth Marriner and Doris Wynn. Mrs. Ange was a member of Corinth Free Will Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Williamston. Burial will follow in Jamesville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include two granddaughters, Doris Fletcher of Greenville, Carrie Modlin of Washington; a grandson, Petey Alligood of Washington; and four great-grandchildren.
