Mrs. Ruth Williams Holton, 73, of Creswell died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Chowan Hospital in Edenton. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Assembly of Praise, Columbia, with the Revs. Joe Pierce and Elmo Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Azalea Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at the Assembly of Praise and other times at the residence. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
