Geneva Moore, 82, a resident of River Trace Nursing Home and formerly of 428 Big Hill Road, Aurora, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at the River Trace Nursing Home in Washington.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at Triumph M.B. Church, Blount’s Creek, with Elder Seriunus Willis, pastor, officiating and Bishop John McClaney, eulogy. Burial will follow in the family cemetery.
She is survived by a special niece who was a (daughter) in kind Phyllis Martin (Ronnie) of Aurora; one stepdaughter, Corrina Moore of Long Island, N.Y.; one brother, Alton Pender (Mary) of Aurora, three sisters-in-law Eula V. Moore, Blounts Creek, Martha Bynum (Jesse) of Aurora, and Clarice Moore of Aurora; two grandchildren Jorrina and Jonathan Moore of Long Island, N.Y. and two great-grandchildren Damien and Kaili, also of Long Island, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Isreal Moore on Aug. 21, 1997.
