Laura M. (Biedinger) Fisher

Mrs. Laura M. (Biedinger) Fisher, 42, of Clinton Twp., died tragically Feb, 23, 2011, as the result of a pedestrian accident in Middletown, Ohio. Born March 31, 1968, in Pittsburgh, Laura grew up in West Deer Twp. and attended Deer Lakes High School, graduating in 1986. Laura received her Bachelors and Masters degree in metallurgy from the University of Pittsburgh. Laura was employed by AK Steel’s Research Department, Butler as a Senior Research Engineer where she worked for 8 years. She was a member of the Culmerville Sportsman Club. Laura especially enjoyed spending time with her husband, her two giant schnauzers, Sander and Tyra, camping, the outdoors, fishing, boating and most recently snow skiing.
Survivors include her childhood sweetheart and husband of 20 years Kenneth G. Fisher, Jr, her parents Carl C. & Margaret M. (Carryer) Biedinger of Washington, NC, her husband’s parents Kenneth G. & Donna (Micklo) Fisher, Sr. of West Deer, many loving Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Erica L. Biedinger in 1977.
Family will receive friends Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. & 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Siwicki-Yanicko Funeral Home, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Twp, where parting prayers will be conducted Monday
9:30 a.m., Christian Funeral Mass will follow in Transfiguration R. C. Church, Russellton, with the Rev. John Vojtek, officiating.
