Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Kellum of Chocowinity, N.C., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Carmen Nicole Kellum of Raleigh, N.C., to Daniel Edward Folk of Raleigh.

Miss Kellum is the granddaughter of Mrs. Joan Ford and the late Garvin Ford of Washington, Mrs. Rachel Wolfe and the late Daden Wolfe Jr. of Washington, and Mr. and Mrs. Ward Kellum of Pikeville, N.C.

Mr. Folk is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Folk of Boiling Springs, N.C., and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Seigler of Aiken, S.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Folk of Aiken.

The couple will exchange vows on July 30, 2011, at 4:30 p.m., at the Washington Yacht and Country Club in Washington.
