Three larceny suspects sought

Washington police detectives have obtained arrest warrants for three suspects involved in a coordinated conspiracy to commit a larceny which occurred at Walmart on Jan. 28, according to the Washington Police Department.

Warrants were issued for Miosha Kenyetta Troy, 26 of Wilmington; Tanesha Janay Richardson, 22, of Wilmington; and Charlicia Renee Powell, 26, of Wilmington. Each has been charged with felony larceny and felony conspiracy for incidents in Washington.

Since identifying the suspects, Washington detectives have coordinated investigations with other agencies, leading to additional charges in Lumberton, Fayetteville, Jacksonville, Wilmington, Morehead City, Garner, Kinston, Hope Mills, Leland, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Carolina Forest, S.C., and Conway, S.C.

The theft in Washington resulted in a loss of more than $2,500 worth of Ipads and assorted other items through deception, according to police.

The investigation continues.

Walmart’s loss-prevention employees provided valuable assistance with the investigation, according to police.
