To the Editor:

I was in a bad car crash back in 1999. The car I was riding in veered off the road and struck a tree knocking me out. There were two others in the car. I woke up to two guys yelling at me to wake up. They pulled me from the burning car. The others did not make it. It’s been years and I still have not thanked them. It happened on Highway 33, between Chocowinity and Grimesland in December of ’99.

The National Firefighter Association sent papers for me to fill out for the men. They were going to receive awards. I was so devastated by the deaths, I couldn’t handle it. Could you please help me find these angels. Chris Burbage and Cathy Sinclair died in the wreck. My life isn’t going to be complete until I meet the men and thank them. Please help.
