Mrs. Annie Pearl Phelps White, 81, of 139 W. Askewville St., died Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Askewville Baptist Church with the Rev. Freddie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Walker Funeral Home and at other times from the home.
