Mr. Fester “Shorty” Richardson, 71, of 40 Frederick Road, Chocowinity, died Monday, March 14, 2011. A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Howard Hill Free Will Baptist Church. A walk-in visitation will be conducted from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the chapel. The family will receive friends at the home of Victoria Burgess Deas, 5751 River Road, Washington.
