Mrs. Dorothy Denning, age 96, a resident of 212 Connecticut Dr., Chocowinity, died Friday, April 1, 2011, at the Beaufort County Medical Center.

Survivors include her son, David Denning and his wife Joyce of the home; three grandchildren, Kelly Gioffre, Noelle McMullen and D.J. Denning and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of over fifty years, Floyd B. Denning.
