BCCOC’s banquet set for April 14

The Belhaven Community Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards banquet is set for 6:30 p.m. April 14 at Pungo Christian Academy.

Tickets are $25 a person and may be purchased at the chamber’s office from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Citizen of the Year, Junior Citizen of the Year and Small Business of the Year awards will be presented.

The keynote speaker will be state Sen. Stan White, a freshman Democratic legislator from Dare County. Entertainment will be provided by the Olde Fiddle Case. The event includes a silent auction and door prizes.
