Jean Askew Miller, 74, died at her home on Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Arrangements have been made for a remembrance of Jean’s life April 16, 2011, at 3 p.m. to be followed by a service at 4 p.m. at the Plymouth Church of Christ, 905 Washington St., Plymouth, N.C.

Jean will be remembered for her unquestionable love of her family, her love of flowers, and family gatherings.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Bobby Ray Miller, her children, Gail Roberts from Winterville, Ray Miller of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Tonya Miller of Plymouth, Christopher Roberson and fiancÄe Nichole Parrish of Greenville; Michael Roberson and wife Caroline of Hays, N.C.; and one great-granddaughter Chloe Roberson.

Jean was the daughter of the late Autrey and Josie Askew of Lewiston, N.C. She is preceded in death by her son Joseph Miller and brothers Patrick Askew and William Askew. She was a member of the Plymouth Church of Christ.
