The city of Washington should be proud of Kelley Franks and her four sons. Next time all four sons are in town, they should have a parade on Main Street. The town and the state should be proud of them.
City and county officials are leaving the area like rats on a sinking ship. Do they know something the citizens don’t?
The editorial in Saturday’s paper on energy showed remarkable insight and we, as readers, appreciate that very much. Especially the alarming statement and something new to us all, that we need to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Isn’t that something?
