Terry H. Woolard

Terry Holt Woolard, 53, a resident of New Bern, and formerly of Chocowinity, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Carolina East Medical Center.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2011, at Pamlico Memorial Gardens in Washington officiated by Ward Sullivan. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at 15th Street Church of God in Washington.

Terry was born Nov. 24, 1957, in Beaufort County, the son of the late Elmer Ray Woolard and Frances Moore Woolard. He graduated from Chocowinity High School in 1976.

He is survived by his daughter, Brandi Buck and husband Allen of Vanceboro; two brothers, Art Woolard and wife Sandy of Roxboro, N.C., and Ricky Woolard and wife Tammy of Pinetown; and a sister, Jo Hickman and husband Neel of Chocowinity; and two grandchildren Matthew and Cole Buck.

Pamlico Funeral and Cremation Service of Washington is serving the Woolard family.
