Mr. David Spencer Smithwick, 63, a resident of Jamesville, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville. A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Free Will Baptist Church, Plymouth, with the Rev. Robert Travis officiating. Burial will follow in Ange Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Maitland Funeral Home, Plymouth, and other times at the home. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home.
