Willis Cooper Jr., 87, a resident of 501 N. Light St., Columbia, died Monday, May 16, 2011, at his residence after a brief illness. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday at Columbia Missionary Baptist Church. Dr. Jeff Crabtree, pastor and Rev. Joe Wynns will officiate. Burial will follow in Azalea Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Bryan Funeral Service, Columbia Chapel and other times at the home. Arrangements by Bryan Funeral Service.
