Evil and corruption will continue in Beaufort County as long as good people do nothing.
Why are we going out of town for our hot dogs for the Fourth of July celebration? I thought we were supposed to support businesses in Beaufort County.
The truly amazing thing about Paul Spruill’s time in Beaufort County was that he could get along with all the commissioners. He did a great job. We will miss you. I wonder why they had to go to Martin County for your goodbye party. Wasn’t there anything in Beaufort County the commissioners could support?
So, at our Fourth of July celebration we are getting hot dogs from out of town, and the county commissioners say goodbye to Paul Spruill in Martin County.
Walter Williams’ column in Sunday’s paper about America’’s new racism hit the nail right square on the head, and if more people would listen to what he says, then this country would be a whole lot better off.
