On June 14, investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit served arrest warrants on Michael Burrus Ballantyne, 19, of 730 Cherry Road in Washington. Ballantyne was charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule III controlled substance.
Ballantyne’s arrest stemmed from investigators making purchases of prescription pain pills from Ballantyne. Ballantyne was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond.
