Jerry Evans, broker/owner, and Scott Campbell, sales associate, with Century 21 The Realty Group in Washington recently earned their North Carolina short-sale-seller certification. The Certified Short Sale Seller agent designation is the first and only North Carolina state specific short-sale designation. The CSSS designees are real-estate related professionals dedicated to helping North Carolina homeowners who find themselves in the position of owing more than their property is worth. CSSS designees understand the short-sale process, transactional entities and who the true short-sale decision-makers are. They can identify predatory servicing tactics and guide consumers to the appropriate state regulatory agencies if necessary.

Offered by Superior School of Real Estate and Advance Mortgage Education, each of the class segments that make up the CSSS agent designation are approved as general continuing legal education by the North Carolina State Bar and as continuing education electives by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.
