A ribbon cutting ceremony was recently held at the Beaufort County Developmental Center to mark the grand opening of The Herb Shop. Operated by BCDC’s consumers, The Herb Shop offers a variety of freshly grown herbs including cilantro, thyme, basil, parsley and more. BCDC will soon announce store hours for The Herb Shop, which will be open to the public. The Herb Shop will also participate in the Saturday farmer’s markets.
