Gilbert and Nancy Smith of Belhaven, NC, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Joy Smith to Randy Carawan Jr.

The bridegroom is the son of Randy Carawan of Pinetown, NC, and Teresa Carawan of Washington, NC.
